The Vision

The home BAYCC was built for.

Bay Area Cultural Connections was founded to bring people together across cultures, faiths, and generations — through art, dialogue, education, and shared meals. For years that work has happened in spaces we don't own: rented venues, partner facilities, borrowed time.

539 E Weddell Drive changes that. It is a rare, complete facility in central Sunnyvale — already configured with classrooms, open studios, a reception, a commercial kitchen, and a large gathering hall. It doesn't need to be built from the ground up. It needs a community to call it home.

“Building a space where our community comes together to grow, learn, and support one another for generations to come.” A place for everyone, built by everyone

With your support, we can secure it — and give our community a place that is finally, permanently, ours.

~$84,000

Current Rent Eliminated

Current lease expense is eliminated once operations move into the new building.

~$100,000

Retreat Programs

Reduce or replace retreat-related outside facility and program costs by bringing a substantial portion of the retreat programming into the building.
